Devils claw (Harpagophytum procumbens) is native to Africa. It can be found in the Kalahari Desert, Namibia and various South African countries. The plant is named after its uniquely large claw-like appearance. Devils Claw has been used medicinally by the San and Khoi people of the Kalahari Desert for thousands of years.

Devils claw can be made into a tea. Have 2-3 cups daily.
To make a tea:
1. Use a ratio of 1-3 tsp (2-6g) of Devils claw to 1 cup (250ml) of water.
2. Add roots and water to a pot and bring to a boil.
3. Cover, reduce heat and allow to simmer for 10-15 mins, then strain and serve.
4. You can add citrus and natural sweeteners, we do not recommend sugar.
