Each mineral needs a selection of other minerals to be present to be correctly assimilated (used) by the body. Below is a list of the minerals and vitamins the body needs and their partners. When thinking about your health and what your body may be lacking in, taking the mineral “groups” into consideration is very important. The lack of a particular mineral or vitamin will not be corrected without also making sure the whole group is present in the diet.

Calcium needs: Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Selenium, Sodium, Copper, and Iron.

 

Chromium needs: Magnesium, Potassium and Zinc.

 

Copper needs: Calcium, Iron, Selenium and Sodium.

 

Iron needs: Chromium, Copper, Manganese, Phosphors, Potassium, Sodium, and Selenium.

 

Magnesium needs: Calcium, Chromium, Manganese, Potassium, Phosphorus and Zinc.

 

Manganese needs: Iron, Magnesium, Phosphourus, Potassium and Zinc.
